These dehydrated potato flakes are a versatile product.  These potatoes can be used to make many different flavors of potatoes such as butter, garlic flavor or cheesy potatoes.  The flavors are up to you.  Potato flakes are great for thickening soups and gravies.  Potato flakes are great for making potato pancakes, potato bread and rolls, and gnoochi.  There are so many possiblities that you can do with potato flakes besides mashed potatoes and gravy.

Directions:
 
For 4 2/3 cup prepared servings: Combine 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. butter, 1/2 cup cold milk, and 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Add 1 1/3 cups potato flakes. Stir gently with fork to moisten, DO NOT WHIP! Let stand for one minute, then stir gently again. Serve with butter, gravy, or sour cream for desired flavor. NOTE: for creamier mashed potatoes, stir in additional hot water or milk.
Ingredients: Dried Idaho potato flakes, mono and diglycerides from vegetable oil, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium metabisulfite, citric acid.
