CAN INFORMATION:
51 oz (1446g)
Directions: Add 2 cups of biscuit mix to 1/2 cup milk or water. Stir with a wooden spoon 1-2 minutes (30-50 strokes). Dough will have visible shortening lumps. Turn dough out onto floured board and knead 15 seconds. Roll out, fold in half once, turn one quarter turn, roll to desired thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. For drop biscuits, increase liquid to 2/3 cups. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 425°F for 10-12 minutes. Yields 12 biscuits.
Ingredients: Bleached enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, enriched with niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), soybean oil, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), dextrose, nonfat dry milk, salt, dried buttermilk, mono and diglycerides (emulsifier). Contains soy, egg, dairy, and wheat.
*No absorber is placed in can as it reacts with the leavening.
**Because of the leavening in these mixes they may begin to expand in the can. When you use the product it may require adding a small amount of baking powder to mix.
***Processed in a plant that handles dairy, milk, wheat, egg, soy, and tree nut products.
