This long grain brown rice is a great product to have.  Brown rice has more nutrients and has a nuttier texture and flavor to it than white rice.  Because only the outside hull is removed, brown rice does not store as long when compared to long grain white rice.  Brown rice can be used in the place of white rice in all of your dishes.

How To: 
Add 1 cup rice to 2 - 2 1/2 cups cold water. May add 1 tbsp. margarine or butter and 1 tsp. salt. Cover with lid and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook 45-55 minutes, keeping lid on but stirring several times. Fluff with fork before serving.
In The Can: Long grain brown rice.

*Due to high oils and fats brown rice is not the best for long term storage.
